I am also extremely lonely and it hit especially hard today. I have been numbing it for so long I never realized I was lonely until I met someone amazing and they were immediately taken away from me. Now I know what I am missing. Now I know why other people seek partners. I have been fiercely independent for so long and I used to enjoy it but it just isn’t enjoyable anymore.
